Introduction
|
Revell was careful to match up road
names of the cabooses to the engines in the sets, so there is a caboose
to match each engine offered. |
T4060 Union Pacific
|

 |
Some Union Pacific cabooses were
cataloged as 4061, but were lettered 4060. |
T4062 Atlantic Coast Line
|
 |
Some Atlantic Coast Line cabooses were
cataloged as 4063, but were lettered 4062. It is possible that the
higher numbered cabooses were the ones with the brakeman included, but
the catalogs are inconsistent in this regard. |
T4064 Santa Fe
|
|
Some Santa Fe cabooses were cataloged as
4065, but were lettered 4064. It is possible that the higher
numbered cabooses were the ones with the brakeman included, but the
catalogs are inconsistent in this regard. |
T4066 New Haven
|
There may have been two versions of this
caboose, one silver and one red. It is possible that the higher
numbered cabooses were the ones with the brakeman included, but the
catalogs are inconsistent in this regard. |

T4068 Baltimore & Ohio

T4070 Southern Pacific

T4072 New Haven Trailiner
|
|
This Caboose, along with the Canadian
Pacific caboose, differs slightly in design from the previously listed
cabooses. Rather than a 2 piece end railing, it uses a one piece
railing. In addition, the brake wheel is a vertically
mounted plastic casting instead of the horizontal wheel on a shaft of
the previously listed cabooses. Finally, the roof ladder mounts to
the edge of the roof rather than curving around to the top of the roof. |
